Here, I'll tell you a little bit about myself.  As you can all guess my names Amanda, and I am currently living in Madison, WI with my boyfriend Ron.  I've only been in Madison a few years and I absolutely love it!  I grew up in a small town like 4 hours north of here, so this is definetely the life.  I even attended St. Cloud State University in Minnesota for a little while before coming here.  I majored in graphic design and photography, and am hoping to get back into school to finish what I started.

 

Right now I'm not really working a lot, but I have a blast at what I do.  I work 2-3 days a week cocktail waitressing at a bowling alley during leagues.  And I also bartend once and a while.  It's such a laid back place, and the people are awesome!  I don't think I'll ever quit-I'm officially a bowling alley junkie.  My last job though I was a CNA at a mental health institute-man, talk about interesting...and easy!  All you did was play cards and games with the patients all day!  And then you have the occasional temper tantrum, which I always found to be an adrenaline rush (did I spell that right?). They teach you how to take down the patients if they're being dangerous to other patients or staff.  I never got hurt too bad, the occasional bite or scratch was about it.  But I actually did end up quiting a couple months ago because it got to be way too dangerous.  Go figure.

 

Which leads me to my favorite topic, and my latest news to most people.  I am currently 6 months pregnant!  Yay for me!  Ron and I found out at the beginning of December that we're going to be having a baby boy, whose growing strong and healthy.  He's due on April 2, so only a few more months to go!  We've only agreed on one name so far, Quade Alan Blake.  What do you guys think?  I'm still going to keep my ears open just incase, ya know.
